\nFor the team at the Michael Magro Foundation, we consider the Child Life Specialists at the hospitals to be our true allies. They work tirelessly to ensure the children in their care, and their families, are supported through their struggles. They contact the Foundation with the needs of individual families in need as well as items or services to benefit an entire pediatric department.<\/p>\n

Michael Magro Foundation began with one hospital partner \u2013 NYU Langone Health Long Island, Mineola, NY. From there, we expanded our efforts into Suffolk County with Stony Brook Pediatric Oncology at Stony Brook Children\u2019s, Stony Brook, NY.<\/p>\n

Since our early days, new hospitals have come on board as partners, recognizing the benefit our work can provide to their patients, families, and pediatric units.
