The money was raised through generous donations from the community.<\/p>\n<p>The Michael Magro Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was established in January 2005 to better the lives of children with cancer, pediatric cancer survivors, and their families, as well as other chronic pediatric illnesses.<\/p>\n<p>De Sena raised the funds in three weeks through the support of family and friends. At the Miami Half Marathon, an individual or a team can select a non-profit of their choice to raise funds through the event.<\/p>\n<p>More than 40,000 runners and spectators travel from around the world to experience the Boston-qualifying course at the Miami Half.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRunning the Miami Half was a great way to raise funds for the Michael Magro Foundation and bring awareness to their cause\u201d said De Sena.<\/p>\n<p>At <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameripriseadvisors.com\/team\/siena-wealth-advisory-group\">Siena Wealth Advisory Group<\/a> we are passionate about helping you protect yourself and your family from the unexpected.
