The Michael Magro Foundation has teamed up with The Spencer Foundation<\/a> for \u201cOperation: Playcation!\u201d \u2013 an ongoing campaign to put a PlayStation Four (PS4) Gaming System in each patient\u2019s bedside in the South Pediatric Unit of Stony Brook Children\u2019s Hospital.   The consoles will be loaded with games that will give kids from the age of five through the late teens a welcome break from their treatments.<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s only part of the story.  Operation: Playcation! is also about sharing what we learn with other hospitals so they can implement similar programs.<\/p>\n
