Long Island Business News Announces Corporate Citizenship Awards
Long Island Business News has selected Terrie Magro, Co-Founder of the Michael Magro Foundation as a recipient of a 2025 Corporate Citizenship Award.
The Corporate Citizenship Awards recognize companies and individuals who believe that by being good corporate citizens, they contribute to the economic and social well-being of their employees, businesses and the community. Honorees consistently prove that true community stewardship evolves through building strong partnerships with nonprofit organizations and others that strive to meet the critical needs of the community. The honorees were selected by the editorial staff of Long Island Business News. A listing of winners is below.
“The 2025 Corporate Citizenship honorees have demonstrated unwavering integrity and commitment to the Long Island community, and know and understand the power of philanthropic stewardship,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Long Island Business News. “We at Long Island Business News are pleased to honor them.”
The honorees will be recognized at an event on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Crest Hollow Country Club, 8325 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury. Registration, networking and a breakfast buffet begin at 9 a.m., followed by the awards program at 9:30 a.m. The event hashtag is #LIBNevents.
Attendance is limited, with sponsors receiving priority access.
There are various sponsorship levels available, which include the right to use the event logo, multimedia marketing, a table to share with co-workers and guests at the event and much more. If seats are available after the sponsorship deadline, a limited number of individual tickets will go on sale. Tables are only available with sponsorship. To secure a sponsorship to ensure you and your guests can celebrate together, contact Suzanne Fischer-Huettner at shuettner@bridgetowermedia.com.
Honorees will be profiled in a special section of the Sept. 12 issue of Long Island Business News and online at LIBN.com.
