BONDING WITH BABY

Michael Magro Foundation is developing a program for siblings of babies in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), to communicate with them in a safe, sterile environment. Through computers, we can create a “FaceTime”-like setup, enabling siblings to talk, sing and bond with their new brother or sister.

Nearly half of all NICU babies are expected to benefit from this program. Some NICU babies require extensive monitoring after birth, making this type of program difficult.
