Joseph S. De Sena of Siena Wealth Advisory Group helped raise $8,500 for the Michael Magro Foundation

(February 21, 2020-Naples, FL) – Joe De Sena, CFP, MBA, Managing Director of Siena Wealth Advisory Group, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., helped raise $8,500 to benefit the Michael Magro Foundation by running the 2020 Miami Half Marathon. The money was raised through generous donations from the community.

The Michael Magro Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was established in January 2005 to better the lives of children with cancer, pediatric cancer survivors, and their families, as well as other chronic pediatric illnesses.

De Sena raised the funds in three weeks through the support of family and friends. At the Miami Half Marathon, an individual or a team can select a non-profit of their choice to raise funds through the event.

More than 40,000 runners and spectators travel from around the world to experience the Boston-qualifying course at the Miami Half.

“Running the Miami Half was a great way to raise funds for the Michael Magro Foundation and bring awareness to their cause” said De Sena.
